Memcached is a high-performance, distributed open-source caching system. This caching system has been developed to buffer database access in dynamic web applications. Memcache consists of a client software, a client-based hash algorithm, a server software and the LRU procedure. A list of available memcached servers is sent to the client software. The client-based hash algorithm stores the values and the associated keys in an internal hash table. The LRU procedure eliminates old data when space is needed.
  • Its simple design simplifies the development and ensures fast distribution.
  • Memcached is used to buffer database access on dynamic web applications.
  • Memcached is a in-memory key-value store for small data packages (such as strings and objects) from database calls, API calls and Page Rendering.

These applications run on Linux CentOS 7.

As part of your contract, you can install as many free apps as you like from the Cloud Panel.
